This year, we are thrilled to award scholarships to 13 outstanding students selected from nearly 100 applications. We were incredibly impressed by the level of talent, academic excellence, and commitment these students demonstrated throughout the application process. However, this was also the year to introduce new scholarships driving by community efforts. We are excited to introduce our three new inaugural scholarships.

Jandriel Heredia's Scholarship
🌟 The Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund is honored to announce our inaugural Jandriel Heredia's Scholarship. 🌟
This scholarship is created in loving memory of Lynn Native, Jandriel Heredia, who was tragically taken by gun violence in September 2023. It serves as a tribute to his vibrant life and unwavering ambition.
Through this scholarship, we aim to honor Jandriel's memory by supporting students who mirror his dedication in business, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
We are proud to announce that the 2024 Jandriel Heredia Scholarship recipient is Angel Luis Frias! 🎓👏
In solidarity, we remember and honor Jandriel. 💙

Iglesias Unidas Scholarship
🌟 The Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund is excited to announce our inaugural Iglesias Unidas Scholarship! 🌟
Thanks to the generosity and unity of the Latino evangelical churches of Lynn (Iglesias Unidas Para Adorar a Dios), we are proud to offer TWO scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year: one for a male student and one for a female student who are born abroad and are either unaccompanied minors, undocumented students, or DACA recipients.
We understand the unique challenges faced by these individuals in our community, and that's why we're focusing our efforts on providing support to these exceptional students. This scholarship aims to empower and uplift deserving students, regardless of their immigration status.
We are thrilled to announce our 2024 Iglesias Unidas Scholarship recipients: Salomé Duque Lopera and Diego Palacios Ordoñez! 🎓👏
